Soup is an ongoing project inspired by the connectedness of all matter, taking the form of dance inspired performance art. Soup consists of movement that shifts and melts between forms. The work critiques the perceived divide between high art and creatureliness, Soup plays on movement that draws the body into the focus as a place of meaning making, knowledge and emotion.
Soup has so far undergone two developments. The first development was made possible through through Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub's Incite residency. The second development and subsequent showing was made possible with support from Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre.
